About us

Sherburn White Rose Football Club is a thriving grassroots football club based in Sherburn in Elmet, North Yorkshire, providing football opportunities for players of all ages.

The club has teams across junior and senior football, including:

Junior boys’, mixed and girls’ teams
Men’s First Team and Reserves
Ladies Team
Veterans Team

Our teams compete in local league and cup competitions across West and North Yorkshire, and the club is affiliated with the West Riding County FA.

We are proud to be a 2-Star England Football Accredited Club, recognising the standards we maintain across our football provision.

We also have a dedicated team of volunteer coaches across our age groups, with a wide range of experience and coaching qualifications.

Sherburn White Rose Football Club is run by dedicated volunteers who make grassroots football possible in our community. Volunteering is a great way to get involved, meet new people and make a difference. There are lots of ways to help, from coaching and matchday support to administration, fundraising and events. Like other football clubs we have a team of dedicated volunteers that make it possible for football to take place and we rely on the support of local businesses for sponsors to help with cost of football kits for our teams. Without this support we would struggle to function as a club and this cost would be passed onto parents. Can I please remind everyone of our Club and FA Code of Conduct. Any cases of poor conduct brought to the clubs attention, will be dealt with by the committee and disciplinary meetings held with those responsible. Consequences such as touchline bans or expulsion from the club would be considered. We want everyone to enjoy the GAME so please do your part to ensure we ALL DO POSITIVE.
